At St Crispin’s Infant School we believe PE and School Sports play an important role in the development of our pupils, including impacting on their health and well being. Through participation, our children build and learn more about our key values; enthusiasm for learning, kindness, awareness of right and wrong, creativity and respect. We have developed an innovative, varied PE curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities which we believe have a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of all our children.
Having researched how best to spend this money for 2016 – 2017 and to ensure it has a long-lasting impact, we have decided to spend the £9,350 sport premium funding to support the development of PE and school sport in the following ways:
Our overall aim is to raise standards in PE, School Sport and health awareness, in order to bring about a lasting impact on our children. We aim to provide higher quality lessons and improved learning using PE as a vehicle to whole school improvement in Literacy and Numeracy.
